One more simple dish from Odissa n my daughter’s one favorite item…
15-18 french beans
1 medium potato
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp udad dal
2 green chili slitted
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
Cut french beans from both ends n remove the races.Then cut into 2 inch length long size.
Now cut potato also 2 inch length wise(Do not peel the cover)
Heat oil,add udad dal n green chili.
When udad dal turns golden , add potato n french beans with turmeric powder.
Saute for 2 min in high flame,then make flame low n cover the lid for 10 min.
In between stir 2 to 3 times.Finally add salt n stir for 1 min.
Serve hot with rice or roti…
