Aloo Dahi Pachidi is one of my favourite recipe…In our Hyderabad stay my elder niece visited and she told me to prepare this…and my daughter was telling mumma why u dint prepare this…it is so yummy.It is so soothing,awesome combo with rice,dal,papad and this…my mouth watering .In Odisha mostly the weather is hot so this type of recipes are just perfect.You can give this to kids also as it is super healthy.So lets get started

Ingredients Required

3 medium boiled potatoes(water n salt)
(peeled and mashed keeping some big chunks)
1 cup curd
2 big garlic cloves
2 green chili slitted
1 whole red chili
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp udad dal
a pinch of asafoetida
10-12 curry leaves
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
2 tsp oil
Salt to taste

Procedure

Add curd and salt to the mashed potatoes and mix it well.
Heat oil,add garlic and sauté this till it turns into golden colour.
Then add red chili,mustard seeds,udad dal n asafoetida.
When mustard seeds start crackle add green chili,curry leaves.
Add this tadka to potato mixture.
Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix it well.
Serve with rice,dal or enjoy like as it is only.

Notes

I prefer mashing potatoes rather than cubes so that curd is properly mixed with potatoes.
If you are making for kids avoid chili.
