
Aloo Paratha
Aloo Paratha a must choice for a kid always…one day my daughter asked me mamma u have curd i told yes… so she told me then make aloo paratha for me i just laughed…
Now come to Ingredeints for stuffing
2 medium boiled potatoes
1 big onion chopped
1 green chili chopped
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
butter to make paratha
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves
For Dough
2 cups wheat flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour(maida)
salt to taste
1/4 tsp carom seeds
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp oil
water to make the dough
dry flour for rolling paratha
Procedure
Make the dough by adding all flours,carom seeds,salt,oil,milk n water. The dough should be medium soft. Rest the dough for 15 min.
Now peel the potatoes n mash it properly.(remember while boiling the potatoes add little salt to this)
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds.When it start crackle add chopped onion n green chili with pinch of salt.
When onion becomes golden color add all spices mix properly.
Then add mashed potatoes to this n mix it. Stir for 2-3 min.
Finally add chopped coriander leaves n mix it. your stuffing is ready.Make it cool down.
Make 2 inch size balls from the dough,take one ball n pat it with dry flour and roll it like puri shape. Keep 3 tbs of stuffing in the center n seal it properly.
Then again roll it ,the paratha should be medium thick .
Heat tawa n bake it from both sides. Spread butter over this.
Bake it till golden color , Serve with curd.
