One simple dish from Odissa…kids also love this…
Ingredients
1 medium potato
3 spring onion
2 green chili slitted
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp udad dal
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
salt to taste
Procedure
Cut potato n spring onion 2 inch length wise(don’t peel the potato)
Heat oil,add udad dal n green chili,when udad dal turns golden,add potato n saute for 2 min in high flame.
Then add turmeric powder,cumin powder,mix well.Cover the lid for 5min.(make low flame)
Now add spring onion,salt n stir for 2 min,mix it.
Serve hot with rice n dal…
