This one I have tasted in one of my southindian friend Amritkala…It is a complete new recipe for me…I liked it so much. So when I thought to prepare this recipe in home,just borrowed the appe pan from her and made it…all love this. So this yummy recipe is dedicated to my sweet friend.
It is so easy and quick to prepare that to with less ingredients…so what we are waiting for.Lets dig into recipe detail

Preparation Time 10 min
Cooking Time 8 to 10 min for each batch
Serving Persons 4 to 6
Ingredients
2 cups idli batter
2 medium onion chopped
1 medium carrot grated
3-4 green chili chopped
10-12 curry leaves chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
OIL to make appe
Appe Pan
Procedure
Add all the ingredients to the batter except oil.
Heat the appe pan and coat each mould with oil.
Now take a spoonful of batter and pour in each mould.
Cover the lid and cook in low flame.
After some time,open the lid.
You can observe from the lower side the appes are done as each appe leaves from the edges.
With the help of appe stick,turn the appe from other side and pour some more oil ine ach mould.
Let it cook from other sides also,till it turns to little golden colour.
When it is done,remove from the mould.
Serve hot with chutney….
Notes
You can add capsicum also for a variety.
If you want it more crispy,cook in low flame for some more time.
Add less oil in the mould,it is sufficient for each appe.
