Hi frndz…today’s recipe is Baked Masala Crackers…this is similar to our regular papdi.
But it is more healthy as it is baked version…papdi is generally fried…so if you are health conscious then it is the best alternative for you to munch on…but no compromise in taste as it is full of flavours

so lets coming to recipe details
Preparation Time 10 min
Baking Time 10 to 12 min
Serving Persons 4 to 6
1 cup maida
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin n red chili flakes
2 tsp ghee
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp kalonji
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Oil to coat on sheet n grease the foil
In a broad vessel take the maida.
Now add salt,oregano,cumin-red chili flakes with ghee.
Rub the maida with the ghee properly so that it incorporates well.
After some time,when you make a dry dumpling it forms a shape.
Now add water little by little and knead to a medium tight dough.
Rest the dough for some time.
After resting,take a big potion and make dumpling.
Pat the dumpling with little oil and roll it thin.
Now coat some oil on the sheet and sprinkle kalonji n sesame seeds all over.
Press it little bit so that it sticks on the sheet.
It gives crunchyness to the papdi.
Take pizza cutter and make thin strips.
Now place a foil on baking sheet and grease with oil.
Place the strips on the greased foil.
Meanwhile preheat the oven for 10 min at 200 degree.
Now bake this sheets for 10 to 12 min at 200 degree.
After 5 to 7 min remove the baking tray from oven,you can observe the sheets leave the foil.
When you turn you can see it turns into golden colour.
Now make the mode from baking to grill so that it turns golden colour from the upper side also.
Remove the baking tray out of oven,let the strips cool down.
Now your super crunchy baked masala crackers done…

Roll the sheet little thin so that it is crispy in less time.
Prick with fork,so that it is not puffed up while baking.
Add your choice of masla to enhance the flavour.
You can add butter or oil also for fattening.
