
Bhature
Bhature is my daughter one of the favourite item…When i make chole she will confirm from me whether i am making big poori or not, For her Bhature is Big Poori..ha ha ha
Ingredients
2 cups of maida
1/3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup sooji rawa(Making Bhatura puffed up for longer time)
3/4 cup butter milk
1 tbsp oil
water to make tight dough
salt to taste
oil to deep fry
Procedure
Take maida,baking powder,sugar,rawa n salt,mix well.(Rawa is added for making Bhature puffed up more time)
Now add butter milk n water(as per req).
Knead it(The dough should be little tighter).Rest the dough for 2 hours.
Now make dumplings as you make for chapati n roll it to make a circle shape.
While rolling remember roll it evenly,mean while heat oil.
Now take the bhatura with two hands n drop it in the oil as shown in pic.
Immediately press it with the spoon so that it will press any bubbles inside the bhatura n it will puff real good.
Tuen it n fry from both sides till golden color,Serve hot with chole n onion.
