Bread Pakoda all age favt dish…


5 bread slices

For Stuffing

2 medium potato boiled n mashed

1 medium onion chopped

2 green chili chopped

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1/4 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp coriander powder

1/8 tsp garam masala

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp oil

salt to taste

chopped coriander leaves

For Batter

1 cup besan

1/4 tsp carom seeds

1/8 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp black salt

1/4 tsp cumin powder

1/4 tsp black pepper powder

a pinch of soda

water as per batter consitency

salt to taste


Oil for deep frying


Heat oil,add cumin seeds.

When it start splutter,add chopped onion with pinch of salt.

When onion turns golden color,add ginger-garlic paste,green chili n all spices.Mix well.

Now add mashed potato n salt,finally add chopped coriander leaves.

Make the potato mixture cool.

Make the batter mixture,add water little by little n make a medium thick batter.

Now cut the bread slices from all sides(the brown part).

Make triangle,square shapes as desired.

Now fill the stuff between two slices.

Put the slice in batter n deep fry in medium flame till golden color.

Serve hot with any chutney or sauce…
