Bore of having same sandwich,bread toast…wanna something new and intresting recipe then you are in right place…try these delicious bread uttapam…I made it mini in size and added colourful veggies so kids love to have this…

So not to worry if you have leftover bread…it tastes yummm with it

So without wasting time lets dig into recipe detail

Preparation Time 10 min
Cooking Time         6 to 8 min
Serving Persons     4
Ingredients
3 bread cut into cubes(side crust removed)

1 cup rava

1/2 cup curd

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp lemon juice

1 eno sachet(lemon flavour)

Salt to taste

1/2 cup water

Oil to make uttapam

For Veggie Mixture

1 medium onion chopped

1/4 cup red capsicum

1/4 cup green capsicum

1/4 cup  grated carrot

2 tsp chopped ginger n green chili

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

1/4 cup chopped spring onion

Procedure

Now take the bread cubes,rava,curd and little water and grind to a smooth puree.

Add all the colourful veggies and spice mixture to this except eno ,lemon juice n oil.

Mix these properly,it is semithick batter now.

Meanwhile heat a tava,spread oil all over it.

Before making uttapam,how much quantity you want,just remove to a bowl.

Add eno to this and on this pour the lemon juice,you can see some bubbles,just mix it instantly with the batter.

It makes the batter more fluffy and you can see the batter increases in volume.

Now take a spoonful of batter and pour on hot tava,make a mini uttapam size.

Repeat this process for making 4 to 6 uttapams at a time.

Pour some more oil on the top part of uttapam so that it will not dry.

After some time you can see the bottom part of uttapam is turning to light golden colour so just flip it and cook it from other sides also.

Repeat the flipping process one more time…so that from both sides it is little crispy.

But due to eno it is soft and fluffy inside.

So kids love to have this…not it is done.

Remove from tava and serve hot with your favourite chutney or sauce

Notes

You can use fresh bread also.

Remove the crust and you can use this for bread crumb.

You can use any other veggies like yellow capsicum,cabbage,tomatoes.

If you have no eno sachet,you can use baking soda with lemon juice,it also works fine.

You can use regular eno sachet also if you don’t have lemon flavour.

How much you want to prepare you can take that quantity and add lemon juice and eno to this.
Otherwise its effect is gone.

You can use chopped carrots also instead of grated carrot.
