
Brown Chane
Brown chane is same like kale chane just color difference…this one i brought from Odissa
Ingredients
1 cup brown chane
1 medium onion
2 medium tomatoes
2 green chilli
1 inch ginger
1 big garlic cloves
Salt to taste
¼ tsp haldi
2 tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp red chili powder
¼ tsp cumin powder
Water to make gravy
1 tsp oil
1/8 tsp cumin seeds
kasuri methi for garnishing
Procedure
Soak brown chane over night. Boil it with salt n haldi till 3 sities in Pressure cooker .
Cut onion , tomato, green chilli into big cubes.
Heat ¼ tsp oil n add onion,tomato,green chilli,ginger n garlic. Saute for 2min.
Now make it cool , grind to a smooth paste.
Heat rest oil , add cumin seeds.
Now add the paste and stir till masala leaves the oil.
Now add all spices and stir for 2 min.
Add brown chane and water to this.
Boil for 5-7 min till it absorb the masala flavor.
Now turn off flame and keep this for 10 min.
Now garnish with crushed kasuri methi.
Serve hot with chapati…
