
Chole-Palak
Chole is a common dish in North-India but this one little bit different
This one made with palak gravy which is more nutritious n taste wise no compromise
Ingredients
2 bunch of palak
1 green chilli
1/4 tsp sounf
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp jeera powder
1/2 tsp dhania powder
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1 medium onion chopped
2 medium tomatoes chopped
1 green chili chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
cold water
water to make gravy
sliced ginger soaked in water for garnishing
Procedure
Soak chole overnight. It will double in quantity next day.
Add salt n haldi to this. Now pressure cook it up to 3 sitis.
Meanwhile boil palak for 2 min n immediately pour this palak into cold water to retain the green color. Blend it properly with a green chili.
Now heat oil in pan,add sounf to this.
Now add chopped onion n ginger-garlic paste,stir for 3-4 min.
Add chopped tomatoes n stir till tomatoes mix properly with onion mixture.
Add all spices,now add boiled chole to this.
Add the palak puree n water to this. Boil it for 4-5 min.
Cover it so that chole absorbs the gravy well.
Garnish with sliced ginger.
