Colorful Sprouted Samosa
Sprouts kids doesn’t like at all…but if we add this no favt item with kids favt item they can have this happily…so made this sprouted samosa
Prepaeation Time 15 min
Cooking Time 10 min
Frying Time 20 min
2 cups maida
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp ajwain
1 tsp kalongi
Salt to taste
1 cup green moong sprouts
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1/4 cup sweet corn
1/3 cup beetroot n three colour capsicum
1 green onion chopped
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp oil
1 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Add kalonji,ajwain,oil( 1 n 1/2 tbsp) n salt to maida.Mix well.
Now add little by little water to make a tight dough.
Now mix rest oil so that all remaining mix well n tight smooth dough can be done.
Rest the dough for 15 min.
In between start preparation for stuffing…
Heat oil,add cumin seeds.
When seeds start crackle add all veggies n mix well.
Now add sprouts n all spices, saute for 1 min.Its done.
Make stuffing cool down.
Now take a small portion of dough and make a dumpling, roll it as oval shape .
Cut into two halves horizonrally, make a cone shape by applying water around circular part and fill 2 tsp of stuffing and fold it from one side as shown in pic.
Apply little water on the edges and fix it .
Heat the oil ,fry samosas in medium heat
Hot n healthy “Samosa” is ready to serve…
