Preparation Time 10 min
Frying Time 6 to 8 min per batch
Serving Persons 6 to 8
1 cup peanuts
1 cup besan
1/2 cup rice flour
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp amchoor powder
1 tbsp curry leaves
Salt to taste
Chaat masala for sprinkling
OIL to deep fry
In a big bowl,take the peanuts, add the besan and rice flour to this.
With this add in all spice masala,chopped curry leaves.
Add water slowly so that the flour and masala well coated with all peanuts.
Meanwhile heat the oil for deep frying.
Put the peanut mixture little by little into hot oil.
Deep fry this in low to medium flame so that peanuts will not be soggy inside and masala will not get burnt.
In this way peanuts will be more crispy and crunchy in texture.
When it is done,remove to an absorbent paper so that excess oil can be drained out.
Make it little cool down and sprinkw chaat masala over it…so that we can get chatpata flavor.
Now store this in an air tight container n njoy….with masla chai
While frying the peanuts,make the flame low…otherwise peanuts will be raw.
You can add crushed garlic to enhance the flavor.
Make sure don’t add more water,otherwise masla is not well coated with peanuts.
I have taken the besan and rice flour more because in our family we love the coating part of peanuts more…if you want you can reduce the flour.
