Dal-Palak Paratha

One more nutritious paratha…


2 cups wheat-flour

1/2 cup tuar dal

1 cup palak

1 tsp ajwain

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

2 tsp sesame seeds

oil for making dough n paratha

salt to taste


Soak the dal for 1 hour and make a smooth paste.

Mix all dry ingredients with oil n make a smooth dough.Rest the dough for 15 min.

Now make small balls n roll it like chapathi.

Cut into two halves and roll it to make a triangle as shown in picture.

Again roll it n give paratha shape.

Now heat tawa,bake the paratha from both sides.

When it turns golden color,apply some oil to make it crispier.

Serve hot with any gravy dish n chutney…
