Made Rasmalai…rasgulla finished but that milk gravy left so thought to prepare this…Double Mitha
6 bread slices
1 tbsp butter
1 cup rasmalai gravy
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp chopped dry fruits
Take bread slices n Cut into circle shapes.
Now apply butter on both sides.
Preheat oven for 10 min n toast bread circles at 180′ for 5 min.
It turns to golden brown color.
Meanwhile make sugar syrup adding sugar to water n boil it.
Add one cardamom to this.
Boil it till it becomes one string consistency.
Dip the bread slices into sugar syrup n pour the rasmalai gravy over this.
Garnish with chopped dry fruits.
For Rasmalai Gravy…
Preparation Time 5 min
Cooking Time 45 min
1 ltr milk
100 gm condensed cream
1/4 cup milk powder
2 white bread slices
Pinch of Cardamom powder
10 to 12 saffron strands
1/4 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
Boil milk in slow flame in a heavy bottom pan till it becomes half…in between stir it to avoid sticking on bottom of pan.
Now add all ingredients except bread n mix it well.
Turn off flame. Now cut the edges of bread n make into small pieces n add to the milk gravy to make it thicken.
After some time bread absorbs the milk n gravy becomes thick…easy way to make gravy thicker in less time…
