
Gobi Parantha
Parantha this word i heard here from my north-indian friends it sounds so tempting….
Ingredients for stuffing
5 cups grated gobi
1/8 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 medium onion chopped
2 green chilis chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp red chili powder(optional)
salt to taste
1 tsp oil for making the stuff
For dough
1/2 cup maida
1/4 tsp carrom seeds
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
water to make the dough
dry flour to make parantha
butter to bake it
Procedure
Mix all the dough ingredients and make the soft dough . Rest this for 15 min.
Heat oil in a pan , add cumin seeds .
After 1/2 min add chopped onion n ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chili.Add pinch of salt so that onion quickly become transluscent.
Now add grated gobi, all the spices as shown in picture…Mix it properly n cover the lid for 4-5 min.
Stir in between ,now your stuffing is ready.
Now make balls out of the dough and roll it. Fill 2 spoon of stuffing inside this and seal it.
Take out the extra dough and press it from back side so that when u roll stuffing will spread evenly throughout the parantha.
Now heat tawa or pan,bake this from both sides in medium flame till golden color.
Apply butter on both sides. Serve hot with curd or sauce.
