Malpua that to be no frying…n have that same taste
this one we had in my friend Rashmi’s Kitty Party…n when we know about the recipe its so easy to make Thanks Rashmi for a quick n simple sweet dish
I thought to share with my friends for Diwali
1 cup maida
1/3 cup malai
milk for batter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water 2-3 cardamom
a pinch of saffron
Mix malai n maida together n make a thick batter consistency.IF u want u can add milk.
Heat tawa, take one spoon of batter n pour, the shape should be small uttapa.
Turn it when it becomes golden color, fry from both sides.
If u want to add ghee or oil u can,but i did not add because as the batter made of malai it looses out oil.
Meanwhile make sugar syrup adding sugar, water n cardamom.
When sugar melts completely, boil for 3-5 min.Add saffron to this.
Now take the malpua slices n dip in the sugar syrup for 2 min.
