Today we prepare Raw Mango Pickle that to in Andhra Style.This one I learnt from my friend Raaji so this pickle recipe is dedicated to her.This is a no cooking recipe…instant one.So lets get started
Preparation Time 10 min
1 cup cut mango pieces with skin
(1 large raw mango or 2 small size raw mangoes)
2 tbsp mustard powder
2 tbsp red chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp salt
¼ tsp fenugreek seeds
5 big garlic cloves
½ cup peanut oil
Press the garlic colve with knife and cut into small pieces.
Cut the mango into inch pieces with skin.
Now in a vessel keep the mango pieces.
Add all the spice masalas with oil to the cut mango pieces.
Mix it well.
Trasfer to glass jars and keep it closed.
Keep the jars as it is for 3 days.
Then it is ready to use…enjoy with rice,roti,pulao…
You can use musard oil or any cooking oil instead of peanut oil.
If you feel the gravy is thin then add more mustard powder.
Keep the lid closed in glass jar for 3 dayz for better result.
The pickle can be stayed outside as it has no water or not cooked so kept fresh for longer dayz.
The more dayz the pickle kept,the mango pieces absorbs the masala more.
