So friends it is a yummy party starter…all love it.You know friends last time my daughter only prepared it as kids holidayz going on from this you can guess how easy n quick it is to prepare. This time I prepared this for recording…so lets get started with this colourful recipe
Preparation Time 10 min
Cooking Time 6 to 8 min
Serving Persons 3 to 4
20 to 25 nachos triangles
½ cup grated processed cheese
1 medium onion chopped
1 medium tomato chopped
½ cup chopped capsicum
2 green chili chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp parsley
¼ tsp red chili flakes
¼ tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp corn flour
1 cup milk
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Heat oil…add chopped onion.
Add a pinch of salt to the onion so that it is cooked faster.
I cook the veggie in high flame so that it is half cooked and retain its crunchiness.
Then I add tomatoes(kept little for garnishing) and cook it for some time.
Now add the mixed herbs, green chili n red chili flakes n mix it well.
Now goes in the capsicum(kept little for garnishing) and let it cook little.
Add half of black pepper powder to this.
Next goes in the sauce n chopped coriander leaves, mix it well.
The salsa is done…
Add little water to cornflour and make a thin slurry.
Boil the milk n in low flame add the cornflour slurry to the boiled milk.
Stir it continuously so that there is no lumps…after some time it start thickens.
Swithch off the flame and add the grated cheese to this n mix it well.
It starts melting and mixed well with the milk mixture.
Add Salt n rest black pepper powder to this .
Now the assembly part…take the serving plate.
Keep the nachos and on this pour the salsa mixture…
Sprinklw chopped tomato, capsicum n coriander leaves on it.
Then pour the cheese mixture and top of this chopped tomato n capsicum.
Finally sprinkle chopped coriander leaves n its done…
Add slat carefully s cheese also has salt.
You can add processed cheese only as it is get melted when mixed with milk mixture…
If you are making for kids avoid red chili flakes and discard the seeds of green chili to retain the flavour only.
I kept little tomato for garnishing so that we get both the cooked tomato n raw tomato taste.
I kept little capsicum too for garnishing to get a crunchy bite.
When you add cheese off the flame n mix it well…otherwise it will stick to pan.
When you add the cornflour slurry to milk, make the flame low and continuously stir it.
You can add raw veggie also as salsa…but I prefer little cooked version so I cook iiit this in high flame so that it retain its crunchiness.
If you make it healthy version just make it with salsa…
