Odissa is famous for Pakhala
Pakhala is nothing but watery rice as Odissa weather is hot so the fooding style is also like this way ….mainly during summer
1/2 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
1/8 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup curd
1 green chilli slited
salt to taste
water to make the pakhala
chopped corinader leaves
The rice should be over cooked so that when curd and water added to this it should be melt in mouth.
Take rice in a bowl n add all the ingredients, mix it properly.
Finally add chopped coriander leaves .
Serve this with some sukhi sabji(i did beans-aloo),onion slices,2-3 slices mango n one more item of Odissa badi chura which i will upload soon.
