
Panasa-katha(Kathal ki sabji)
Its a popular Odissa dish.
This is a well replacement for vegetarian people coz its smell and texture is just like chicken curry.
Ingredients
10 raw panas cloves
1 medium potato cut into cube size
1 medium onion sliced
2 small tomatoes
1/2 inch ginger piece
2 garlic cloves
2 green chillies
1 bay leave
1 inch cinamon stick
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1 cup water
1/8 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp oil
salt taste
Procedure
Make a paste of tomato,ginger,garlic n green chilly.
Heat oil , add bayleaf and cinamon stick.
Now add cumin seeds and all the spices powder,saute for one min.
Now add sliced onion and cubed potato and stir for 3 min in high flame.
Now add panas and stir for 8-10 min.
Add salt and sugar and tomato paste to this. Stir for 2 min.
Add little water to make is sukhi sabji.
Now cover the lid and give two sities.
Immediately remove cover and stir properly.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
