This is a famous Maharashtrian chuntey…well goes with roti,chapathi.When we awere in Pune,we tasted this first time…later I got to know it is so easy to prepare.These chutney,pickles always addsa flavour to the food…increase the taste level.So lets get started
Preparation Time 2 min
Cooking Time 10 min
1 cup peanuts
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 big garlic cloves
2 tsp red chili powder
3 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
Salt to taste
Dry roast the peanuts in low flame for 10 min,sauté in between.
Now add all the rest ingredients to the roasted peanuts.
Make it cool down and peel the skin of peanutsby rubbing with hands.
Grind to a coarse powder,give a pulse or whip it 3 to 4 times.
In between mix it with a spoon.
Store in an air tight container.
Serve with roti,chapathi…
Don’t grind it continuously otherwise oil looses out from peanuts.
I have used kashmiri red chili powder to give a colour and reduce the amount of chili.
Peel the skin of roasted peanuts and then grind…it is more tasty.
