Nandralu is a sweet dish of Odissa…we are amking the spicy form of it…
1 cup rawa
2 n 1/2 cups water
1 tsp chandal
1 tsp udad dal
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 stem chopped coriander leaves
10 curry leaves
4 green chili chopped
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
Oil for making nandralu n shallow frying it
Heat oil,add cumin seeds,udad dal n chana dal.
When chana dal turns golden add water n boil it.
While boiling add all chopped spices n curry leaves with salt.
When water start boiling add sooji rawa n stir simultaneously.
Make it cool down,rub oil in both palms n take the dough of rawa.
Make small balls n press it with palm like puri shape.
Heat tawa n spread oil over this.
Put each nandralu on the tawa n shallow fry it till golden color.
Serve hot with chutney….
