
Sawei Upma
Ingredients
1 cup sawei
1 n 1/4 cup water
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp moong daal
1 tsp chana daal
2 green chili slitted
1small onion chopped
2 small tomato chopped
1/4 cup french beans chopped
1/4 cup carrot chopped
1/4 cup potato chopped
10-12 curry leaves
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Procedure
Dry roast sawei till golden colour.
Now heat oil, add all tadka when mustard start splutter add curry leave n green chili.
Now add onion with pinch of salt n saute till it become transparent.
Now add all veggies except tomato n stir for 4 to 6 min.
Add tomayoes n saute till it becomes paste consitency n mix well with all veggie.
Add all spices n water. Bring to a boil.
Now add sawei n cover lid for 5 min.
Garnish with coriander leaves n hv with some pickle…
