Add chopped onion, top with chopped tomatoes.

Add lots of butter on this.
Now top with podi powder, kashmiri  red chili powder .
Mix these well and cook it till it gets a mushy texture.
Now divide the masala into 4 portions and spread it ttle.
Pour idli batter on each portion carefully so that the idli batter stays inside masala.

Cover the lid and let the idli cooked for some time in low flame.
Remove the lid and licheck the idli done or not.
Insert a toothpick or knife in the middle of idli,if it comes out clean its done.
Serve hot with chutney….

Notes

I have added kashmiri red chili powder to get colour…but if you want you can skip it.
After putting the idli batter make the flame low,to get the crispyness.
Cover the lid so that isli is properly steamed.
