Some friend share the famous tandoori chai of pune in social media and when I saw this I just wanna to try it.And I just love anything has tandoor effect…so prepared in home. And share in my whatsapp cooking group all friends just wanna to know the process.
When my husband tasted it…he just loved this. From that time in home only tandoori chai in demand. So friends in home you can easily prepare this and taste this yummy tea.So lets get started

Preparation Time 5 min
Cooking Time 3 to 5 min

Ingredients

 1 cup milk
¼ cup water
2 tsp tea powder
1 tsp sugar(or according to your taste)
¼ tsp ginger paste or ½ inch crushed ginger
1 cardamom
3 tulsi leaves

1 kulhad(most imp)

Procedure

Boil milk n water in a sauce pan.
Add all rest ingredients to the boiled milk except sugar and let it cook for 3 min in med flame.
Simultaneously heat the kulhad in medium flame.
With the help of hook or chimta, hold the kulhad and turn from all sides so that it gets heated from all sides.
Turn it upside down so that inside part is also heated.
Add sugar to the chai mixture.
Then make the flame high for both kulhad and sauce pan.
Do it for atleast 30 seconds.
In the serving cup, keep the kulhad and strain the masala tea ,instantly due to heat of kulhad it starts bubbling ,in this way you get the tandoori effect.
When it stops bubbling, pour the kulhad tea inside the cup…serve hot to taste the tandoor effect.
Its just awesome…

Notes

The Kulhad should be super hot from inside and outside and the tea also super hot…then only when hot tea poured on ulhad…you get tandoor effect.
So I kept the hot kulhad inside the serving cup only to get better effect.
You can boil all ingredients in water, then when it gets colour add milk and sugar.
If you are making for 2 to 3 persons, heat same amount of kulhad at same time.
Strain the tea and keep in the thermos so that it remains hot.
Do the procedure.
