When I prepared this my daughter only finished half…ha ha ha

Generally it is prepared in tava means big tava in the streets of Mumbai…but as I don’t have such a big tava so I have used big fry pan…

Now coming to recipe part

Preparation Time 20 min
Cooking Time 15 min
Serving Persons 4

Ingredients required

2 cups cooked rice
1 cup water
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 med onion chopped
1/4 cup chopped green capsicum
1/2 cup chopped carrot,french beans,potato
1 tbsp frozen green peas
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 big tomato chopped

2 tsp pav bhaji masala
1 tsp degimirch powder
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp oil
1 tsp butter or ghee
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
salt to taste

For Garnishing

Lemon slice n coriander leaves

Procedure

Boil water n parboil beans,carrot,potato,green peas with salt.

Meanwhile heat oil,add ghee to this.

For colour add degimirch powder n red chili powder to this n saute in low flame.

Now add cumin seeds n when it start crackle,add chopped onion with some salt so that it cooked faster…

When onion becomes little brown in colour, add ginger-garlic paste and chopped capsicum,saute for 1 min.

Now add chopped tomatoes n chopped coriander leaves and saute till tomatoes become mashed n leave its juice,it will take 2 to 3 min.

Now add all rest parboiled veggies and saute for sometime.

Add pavbhaji masala to this n mix well.

Now add the leftover rice n in high flame mix it properly in high flame.

Garnish with a lemon slice n coriander leaves…

Serve hot…

Note:

Always try to make this with left over rice or atleast when rice is completely cooled.

The reason is rice grain will separate…n u can properly utilise the leftover rice

U can make so many different ways…u can add boiled potatoes, paneer cubes also…
