3 large tomatoes chopped
3-4 green chili
1 inch ginger chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
2/3 cup grated coconut
2 medium onion chopped

12-15 curry leaves
2 tsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

OIL to make dosa
Procedure
Take the soaked rice, tomatoes, green chili, ginger, cmin seeds and coconut with little amount of water.
Grind to a smooth paste, initially it is in thick consistency.
Now remove to a bowl, add all rest ingredients except oil.
Add ample amout of water to make it runny consistency like our regular dosa.
Meanwhile heat the tava and spread oil properly.
In high flame pour the dosa batter on tava and spread it.
After some time sprinkle some chopped onion over dosa.
Make the flame medium to low.
After some time, you observe the dosa leaving the edges of tava.
Just inset your spatula slowly…in this way it is easier to remove it from tava.
After 15 sec,you canobserve a golden colour on dosa, this is the perfect time to remove it.
Slowly insert spatula under dosa, carefully remove from tava.
Serve hot ona banana leaf with some chutney and pickle.
Notes
You can add normal sona masoori rice also instead of dosa rice.
You can replace rice flour instead of rice.
You can use dessicated coconut instead of fresh coconut.
You can use cumin seeds as it is in batter or grind it.
Increase the amount of tomatoes if you want little sour taste.
Grease the tava properly before making dosa.
If you are not sure dosa will come out properly or not, just make some chapathi or paratha before one day.
