This is one more favorite item of my Husband…whenever I have some upma left…then he told make this and if some curry left then sone pe suhaga it tastes yummy by combining both
so on that day I made breakfast upma n chane ka curry…so for evening I made this uttapam or chakuli
It is crisp from outside and soft n moist from inside…

Now coming straight to recipe part
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
OIL to shallow fry uttapam
Add all the ingredients to upma and mix well(mash the upma properly)
Rice flour I have added to get the outer part little crispy.
Now heat tawa n spread oil on it.
Take a big spoon of batter and spread on tawa thinly.
You can prepare 6 to 8 mini uttapams at a time.
Make the flame low otherwise it will burn from outside…
Now when it turns little golden color from one side flip it up and spread some more oil.
After some time it is done from both sides…
Serve hot with sauce or any of your favorite chutney
It is crisp from outside and soft n moist from inside…you can add that to upma and made this uttapam.
If no leftover sabji then just add lots of chopped onion,tomato to this and prepare it…it also tastes yummy.
Keep the batter semi thick,otherwise the uttapam will be dry.
