Veg Grill Sandwich recipe indian style/vegetable grill sandwich/grilled sandwich/veg cheese sandwich in hindi/paneer sandwich by roshniscuisine
This one I prepared on a lazy afternoon,something light wanna to do yet yummy…so suddenly it strikes to my mind why not sandwich
And friendz in this sandwich I have added some veggie which kids don’t like,but you can keep inside sandwich and they can happily have it without any effort
And I have added paneer slices…so that cheeze quantity will be reduced and you can’t point out the differnece…This time also whenI visited Indian,I made these sandwicheds both in my inlaw place n mom home…everyone just love this
I hardly get one bite of sandwich to taste…just banake de rahi thi aur udhar khatam

Now coming to recipe
Preparation Time 15 min
Cooking Time 5 min(per Sandwich)
Serving Persons 3 to 4
8 bread slices
1/2 cup green chutney
1/4 cup thick curd
1/4 cup red chili sauce
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 cucumber peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium tomato thinly sliced
16 to 20 thin paneer slices
1 small beetroot peeled and grated
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thymes
1 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp basil leaves
salt to taste
Butter to spread on bread
Mix the curd and green chutney together so that green chutney bitterness reduced and it is more flavourful.
Now take a bread slice,spread this chutney-curd combo on it.
Now layer cucumber slices on the spread,on this sprinkle salt, chaat masala n cumin powder.
Then arrange tomato slices n sprinkle all masala on it.
In each layer I have sprinkled the maslal so thatit is properly balanced in each sandwich bite you get full of flavours.
Now spread grated beetroot to make it more colourful,sprinkle o=dry oregano,basil leaves,thymes,red chili flakes…for seasoning.
Again sprinkle all masala on this…
Now spread grated cheese(cheddar or mozzarella) anything…generally I add cheddar cheese in this sandwich,but it is out of stock in my kitchen so I used melted cheese used for pizza…
Now again sprinkle the dry seasoning n all masala on this.
Now take one more breadn spread tomato sauce n chili sauce.
Place this bread on veggie mixture and press it little bit so that all veggies and bread stick to each other properly.
Heat a griil pan meantime.
Then I spread homemade butter on upperside bread .
Place the butter applied bread on grill pan,due to this it will get grill marks and looks attractive.
Spread butter on the other part of bread,after sometime turn it upside down,so that from nboth sides it will get grill marks and more crunchy.
Serve hot with chips or French fries…
Spread more chutney on bread,in this way kids can have this without any jhikjhik.
Sprinkle the masala in each layer so that it is properly balanced.
I have added paneer slices to reduce the quantity of cheese and kids also cant guess it is paneer,have it happily thinking it is cheese.
You can add any choice of your veggie like cabbage,onion,lettuce,colourful capsicum,blanched sweetcorn,pomegranate seeds…to make it more flavourful.
You can add kasuri methi(our desi alternative) also if you don’t have any dry seasoning.
If you don’t have grill pan,not to worry you can use our normal tava also.
You can make this in sandwich maker also…
