You know friendz this one I learn from my Hubby dear so this yummy pulao recipe is dedicated to him. My hubby and his friends are having bachelor parties so there they are preparing this pulao so easy and quick recipe yet super yummy. Last time when I prepared this I have uploaded in our whatsapp cooking group, my friend Sarmishta wanted to know this recipe and one of my friend com viewer Rashmi also wants one pot recipe, so this recipe is for them too. So lets get started
Preparation Time 10 min
Serving Persons 4
1 cup basmati rice
1.8 cup water
2 bay leaves,2 small cardamom.4 cloves,
4 black pepper,2 inch cinamon stick, 1 javitri
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp kitchenking masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder1 medium onion chopped
2 tbsp green peas
2 tbsp chopped carrot
2 tbsp chopped french beans
1/4 cup cauli flower florets
1/4 cup potato chopped
2 to 3 green chili slitted
1 tbsp ghee
Black Salt to taste
Add soaked rice n water to the rice cooker.
Then add all veggie n whole spices.
Next goes in all spice powder with salt.
Finally add the ghee n cover the rice cooker and on cooking mode of cooker.
When the cooking done, it comes to warmer mode…then its ready.
Prepare raita by whisking the curd and add black salt, chat masala n sugar powder with one green chili.
Soak the sliced onion in water so that its spiceness reduced.
Then add this to curd mixture n keep in fridge to chill.
Serve hot with chilled onion raita.
You can add veggie of your choice ,add some paneer too,ginger-garlic paste also.
If you are preparing in a pan, just sauté the veggie and whole spices for some time and add it.
I follow the process how hubby dear told.
You can use any regular rice like poni rice, sona masoori rice instead of basmati , the water quantity is more comparing to basmati one.
I soak the basmati rice in the required amount of water so that the rice is well soaked.
I have added 1.8 cup water for 1 cup basmati rice as water comes out from veggie too.
