IMG_20181219_165115Preparation Time 5 min
Baking time 10 to 12 min
Serving Persons 4 to 6

1 cup maida
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup chocochips
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp milk

IMG_20181219_165444Take a mixing bowl, and add butter and sugar, mix these with spatula.
Then beat b till it gets a creamy texture.
Now sieve all dry ingredients and add this to butter sugar cream.
Mix it with spatula , add half of choc chips.
Just add little mil to get a proper binding and it forms a dough shape.
Meanwhile preheat the oven for 10 min at 180 degree in baking mode.
Place a foil paper and on this place a butter paper on baking tray.
Now take a spoon full of portion of the dough and make a dumpling , flatten it.
Place all the cookies leaving some space in between .
It needs some space while baking as it melts due to butter .
Bake these cookies for 12 min, when it turns into light golden colour, remove from oven.
Keep on a cooling rack, then store in an air tight container.
Enjoy your evening…

If you find the mixture is little dry, just add little milk to give a mixture proper binding.
The butter and sugar mix should be creamy and it can be done by beating it….
Before just mix this powder sugar with butter, otherwise it will spill out.
I place a paper below the bowl, just in case it spill outside of bowl, our floor will remain clean.
Don’t over knead the dough, the point is to mix all the ingredients together.
Add half of choco chips while mixing, and half for garnishing.
Always preheat the oven before baking.
The butter should be at room temperature so that it is soft and easy to mix.
When cookies turn into light golden colour only, just remove from oven.
As it is hot , it is still on cooking process.
I place an aluminium foil on the baking tray and on that butter paper,so that our cookies don’t turn into dark brown colour from bottom…
If you are using salted butter just skip the salt part, but here what salted butter is available it has less amount of salt.
Sieve all the dry ingredients so that it is mixed together.
Keep on an eye, every oven varies …the baking time may differs.
