One more Odiya Snacks item…


2 cups maida

1 tsp black salt

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp kalonji

1/4 tsp carom seeds

1 tsp oil

oil to apply on nimki sheets

salt to taste

water to make dough

oil for deep frying


Add carom seeds, kalonji, red chili powder,oil,black salt,salt n water to make little hard dough.

Rest the dough for 10 min.Now make medium size balls.

Roll it into thin sheets n spread oil all over this.

Cut into half n roll it in triangle shape as shown in picture.

Heat oil,deep fry in medium flame till it become crispy n golden in color.

Serve it as evening snacks,u can use this for chaat also…
